It’s my last day in South Africa and honestly, I am sad to see it come to an end. But today may have possibly been the most exciting part of the trip. I got to visit an actual amusement park (which I haven’t done in ages) and ‘went’ bungee jumping.

Gold Reef City

This amusement park is full of thrills for every member of the family, no matter the age. There is something age appropriate for everyone to do.

Rollercoasters? They’ve got that. Water slides? Tick. Ferris Wheel? Of course.

If you can name it, you’ll find it.

Soweto Towers

Ok, ok. I confess. I didn’t bungee jump. But I watched. And let me tell you right now, it’s not for the faint of heart. You’ve got to have guts. Personally, near-death experiences aren’t for me. Soweto Towers are 150-200 meters off the ground. There’s only one way up, and there’s only one way down. You get to the peak of the towers via elevator, and you only come down when you jump.

This may definitely be for you, but I chickened out. And I am not ashamed.
