Imagine going through all the stress of making a record, putting it out and only your family members get to hear it. Tragic! Right?? Well that’s what happens when you fail to promote yourself. You’re probably thinking ‘money for promotion no be beans o!, ‘I go pay ‘seat’ fm, I go pay ‘pound pity’ fm’.
Well, I hate to break it to you, you actually have to pay for promotion. You just need to be smart about it, know who to pay and where to channel your money. Promotion strategies in 2020 are different, luckily the internet and social media have brought fans closer to the artist. You’re an artist and not on TIKTOK or Triller doing some ‘corny’ stuff? Then you’re not a very serious artist

Take care of the little things you think don’t matter.
Why am I googling you and you don’t have a website or at least a Wikipedia page? Why is your Instagram page not filled with videos of you singing or rapping? Why are you not paying for promotion on Youtube and running ads on Instagram? Why are you…you know what, don’t let me ask too many questions.
Like I said, take care of the little things and the little things would take care of you.
