So in celebration of children’s day, I wanted to share with you guys, some of the cartoons I loved as a child. It was so hard for me to put together this list because I was obsessed with cartoons when I was a child (LOL who am I lying to, I’m still kind of obsessed with cartoons, I just don’t have the time. PS I’m obsessed with old cartoons, not the rubbish they are showing on TV these days) Okay what was I saying, let me not get distracted  (Before I begin to talk about how cartoons were better in our days and how Cartoon Network is no longer as good as it used to be) yeah so this list was really hard for me because I had to narrow down my choices to my ultimate favorites, if not I would have listed all the cartoons I watched as a kid.

Dexter’s LaboratoryDexter's Lab Cartoon

I loved this cartoon so so much. I loved Dexter because he was super smart, and he was always coming up with different awesome inventions and Dee Dee pissed me off a lot, because she always wrecked his experiments and she didn’t allow my boy work in peace

.

The Powerpuff Girls

So first of all, let me tell you about how pissed I am about how they’ve totally changed the show!! Every time my little cousins watch it, it makes me so angry because they are watching utter trash (my opinion, and you know I’m right). It would have been better if they just ended the cartoon, like they did with the rest, instead of making them grow up and giving them iphones; kids of nowadays will never know the true awesome powerpuff girls cartoon.  Anyway, I absolutely loved the show, my girls never failed to save the day and I love how they always beat the hell out of Mojojo.

Recess

I loved these kids so much cause I could relate to their struggles. My favorite time in school was also recess and of course, I also had this particular teacher who tried to make sure students don’t enjoy recess *BLEEP*.

Megas XLR

Megas XLR

You guys have no idea how much I miss this cartoon, I wish CN could just bring it back as a throwback or something. Megas XLR wad freaking awesome!! And if you’re a millennial and you never watched it, then you weren’t cool. (Yes I said it!)

Samurai JackSamurai Jack

Am I sure i’ll be able to get through this list? Cause the nostalgia is hitting me hard. I couldn’t stop watching this show because I wanted to see if Samurai Jack would kill Aku and  find the portal that would take him back to his own time.  This was a classic.

                                            Ben 10

Ben 10

I loved this show so much to the extent that my grandma had to buy me an omnitrix. Four arms was my favorite alien and the ghost one was the creepiest.

Fairly Odd Parents

Fairly Odd Parents

Cosmo, Wanda and little Timmy, I loved that little trio *tears*  I kept wishing I could have my own Fairly Odd parents.

Ed, Edd and Eddy

Ed, Edd and Eddy

My favorite character was double D, and I also loved Eddy cause he was always looking for ways to get money. Ed was just annoying but I didn’t hate him, I hated his evil sister.

Courage The Cowardly Dog

Courage the cowardly dog

You know I never realized the irony in the title of this cartoon until I was much older. Eustace used to piss me off!! Despite the fact that they saved him all the time, he was always such an ungrateful wicked *BLEEP*

Billy and Mandy
Billy and Mandy cartoon

I never found this cartoon scary at all, I never understood why other kids were scared of it. And I certainly did not understand why Nigerian parents stopped their kids from watching it. According to them, it was demonic LMAO!

Pinky & The Brain

I was really young when I watched this, so I can’t remember a lot of the episodes,  but I remember that this show is a cartoon with the genius mouse and his stupid sidekick who try to conquer the world each night. I loved iit!
