Your skin is a reflection of our internal health. A shiny glowing, beautiful skin shows proper care and a healthy diet. Meanwhile, a skin ridden with acne indicates poor nutrition. Hence, it is essential to deal with Acne before it takes over your face. Here are helpful tips:
Use an exfoliating mask
If you have moderate to severe acne, do not use any facial scrub. This can inflame your acne and spread bacteria. Rather, use an exfoliating mask that doesn’t scrape your skin
Eat more carrots
Carrots contain Vitamin A which strengthens the protective tissue of the skin and actually prevents acne.
Limit your dairy intake
Taking too much dairy products can worsen your acne. So, try as much as possible to limit your intake of dairy products.
Stop the habit of touching your face
You know you do not have to do this but you may not even realise that you are actually doing it. Henceforth, be self-conscious to stop the habit of face touching.
Add turmeric to your diet
Tumeric has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antiseptic properties that may reduce inflammation of acne.
Stop eating sugar
If you can, limit eating sugar to once a week. Fruit is okay, but try to stick to melons and berries.
Sweat detoxifies the skin. Plus, studies find that those who work out at least 3 days a week are more likely to eat healthily.
