DJ Khaled threw his son a 2nd birthday party that also raised $100k for charity.
The big bash for Asahd was held at Marlins Park in Miami. Derek Jeter — retired New York Yankees star and current CEO and part owner of the Miami Marlins — presented a $100,000 check on behalf of the Marlins.
The money is for Asahd Initiative, named after Khaled’s son, a part of Khaled’s We The Best Foundation that will focus on enriching the lives of children by financially supporting programs focused on community needs, family values, and youth entrepreneurship.
Over 250 kids from various community organisations were also in attendance but Asahd was still the little man of the hour. He got his own little Ferrari with matching Ferrari stroller! The birthday boy also received a six-tier carnival-themed birthday cake.
