Republican Candidate, Donald Trump is the president-elect of the United States of America with Wisconsin giving him the required 274 electoral votes at 2:30 a.m. ET Wednesday morning, pushing him over the required 270 votes.

The razor-thin victory stunned pollsters and pundits alike who predicted a Hillary Clinton victory – even in the final days when the Democrat’s lead was within the margin of error.

Trump said that his administration will serve the people and rebuild the nation and the American dream.

“The forgotten men and women of the country will be forgotten no longer,” Trump said.

Clinton called Trump to concede the election before he spoke to his supporters.

“I congratulated her and her family on a hard-fought campaign,” Trump said to the crowd about the call. He also said “we owe her a major debt of gratitude” for her service.

Clinton’s campaign manager, John Podesta, told her supporters at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center at 2:03 a.m. ET Wednesday that Clinton would not speak tonight, saying the campaign wanted all the votes to be counted. However, Clinton will speak Wednesday morning.

The Republicans also will control Congress. The GOP retained a majority of the U.S. House and had at least a 51-47 edge in the Senate with two races outstanding.

In a tone that was considerably less combative than the campaign trail, the president-elect pledged to rebuild the country’s infrastructure and to take care of the veterans.

Congratulations, America. You have a new president. He is y’all’s problem now.
