J Cole is here with Middle child, his first release of 2019, and by the looks of things, he is not playing around. Prior to the release of “Middle Child,” Cole shared a number of tweets of public figures who are, well, the middle child of their family.

Cole considers himself to be in between the old and new generation, therefore making him the “Middle Child.” Produced by T-Minus, J Cole sends a warning shot to rappers in the game.
Some may even he took shots at Kanye with the lines:
‘If I smoke a rapper, it’s gon’ be legit
It won’t be for clout, it won’t be for fame
It won’t be ’cause my shit ain’t sellin’ the same
It won’t be to sell you my latest lil’ sneakers
It won’t be ’cause some nigga slid in my lane’
Whether or not he’s taking shots at Kanye, on thing is for sure. J Cole want to be the best rapper in 2019. He is currently in the studio working on his sixth album, the follow-up to last year’s KOD, which was his fifth consecutive Number One atop the Billboard.
