A new stage play titled The Bloody Affair, directed by Gbenga Kuponiyi is set to show at designated points this Easter.
The play, produced by Deyemi Okanlawon, Siji Akinbola and Gbenga Kuponiyi, is a contemporary retelling of the Easter story which seeks to accentuate the reason behind the Easter celebrations.
According to the organisers of the play, Metamoforces, The Bloody Affair is a powerfully entertaining and educative play.
It is scheduled to play at the Main Auditorium, University of Lagos (UNILAG) from 2pm – 5pm on April 14, and at the Agip Hall, MUSON from 2pm – 5pm on April 16.
Metamoforces is a volunteer group of young creatives, students and professionals, dedicated to providing wholesome family-oriented stage and film production with the use of appropriate technology.
The company uses theatre stage plays, playlets, radio drama, documentaries, films and media based exhibitions to provide value based, rich and well researched content material for family entertainment and education.
