News went round really quickly yesterday, when Davido insinuated that his annual concert may have been barred from holding at the Eko Atlantic City, because of his political ties with PDP.
The management of the city has now responded, claiming the artiste’s accusations were false and they did not ban his concert.
The noted that all they did was ask for further information about the concert, as Eko Atlantic is not an event centre, but a city and the security and welfare of its inhabitants had to be considered before things like that are allowed to hold within the city.

The question however, is why they are asking for further information about Davido’s concert, when the concert has held in the same venue since 2017.
