Eminem says he will re-release his classic Grammy Award-winning album The Slim Shady LP on an expanded vinyl version and on a special two-CD version on Dec. 13.

The Slim Shady LP [Expanded Edition] will boast 30 songs on three discs, which include 10 bonus tracks, including rarities, a cappella versions, freestyles, and instrumentals. The same contents will also be featured on the double-CD version.

Earlier this year, Eminem honoured the 20th anniversary of The Slim Shady LP with a digital-only release of the expanded edition, marking the debut of the album’s bonus tracks on digital and streaming platforms only. Now the physical versions of The Slim Shady LP [Expanded Edition] will arrive next month.

Released on Feb. 23, 1999, The Slim Shady LP was an explosive debut for Eminem who delivered a raw and emotional piece of art that established him as a new (and controversial) voice in the rap game. At the 42nd Grammy Awards in 2000, The Slim Shady LP would go on to win Best Rap Album, while his brash single, “My Name Is,” won Best Rap Solo Performance.
