Nigeria Premier League side Enyimba will be playing their remaining home matches in the group stage of the CAF Confederations Cup at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt after their temporary ground UJ Esuene Stadium, Calabar was banned by CAF.

Complaints by their past opponents over the poor state of the playing surface had led the football ruling body to ban the stadium and ask the People’s Elephant to look for a suitable venue for their home matches.

Presently, the Enyimba International Stadium is undergoing renovation which started three years ago with the new artificial turf already laid while work is yet to begin on the sitting terraces.

Enyimba beat Djoliba of Mali 2-0 in their first group game but went down to a 3-0 defeat to CARA Brazzaville of Congo on match day two.

They will next face Williamsville of Ivory Coast on the 8th of July.
