Eva Longoria is the latest to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles.
Receiving the star on Monday, the elated “Desperate Housewives” actress said “I feel like I’m still a little girl from Corpus Christi, Texas, who had a really big dream and big hair.”
Longoria continued saying, “As a woman and as a Latina, I represent a lot of communities, and I want to tell all those communities that this isn’t my star, this is our star.”
She also took to her Twitter page some moments ago to share her excitement with a photo of herself with the star.
She captioned it: “Well, it’s done! I’m officially available to be walked all over! What an honor! Thank you Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and everyone who helped make this happen!”
The 43-year-old actress was joined by friends and family at the event, including pop star Ricky Martin, actress Anna Faris, and Felicity Huffman, who played alongside the actress for eight seasons in the TV drama, “Desperate Housewives“.
Congrats to her!
