Ketchup

Ketchup can help revive your faded silver earrings, rings, bracelet, and necklace.  You smear them with it. Wash it off after a few minutes to avoid the ketchup from damaging your jewellery.

Beer

Pour beer and a cloth or cotton wool and use it to slightly wipe your gold. You can do this several times and then use another cloth to clean it.

Window cleaner

The window cleaner can be used to clean diamonds and rubies. Spray the rubies with the window cleaner and then use a cotton wool to clean your jewellery.

Club soda

You should drop your diamonds, rubies, and sapphires in a glass of club soda and leave for a while so that the soda can take effect.

Toothpaste

Put paste on an old toothbrush and use it to rub your diamond ring. This also works.

Baking soda

You can use baking soda to clean your silver and gold pieces of jewellery. For silver, you should make a thick paste with a reasonable amount of soda and water. Then apply the mixture to your silver.  As for your gold, coat it with a bit of baking soda, pour a little vinegar on it and wash in water to clean.
