So, this question popped up in my head. ‘What makes a dress beautiful? Some designers say the beauty of a dress comes with the fabrics, the design or the model.
Fabric goes a long way in bringing out the essence of a design while the design brings outs the creativity of the designer. This entails how the designer studies and interprets the texture of the fabrics, the designs or patterns on it and how he/she creatively craves out design.
Then, we have the model who wears the dress and is ultimately believed to bring out the beauty of the dress, I mean, what good is a dress if it’s not worn?
There are models with different body shapes and this sure plays a role on how spectacular the dress appears. We have the ‘figure 8s’ who look smashing in dresses and will always glow with a sense admiration. But not all types dresses look good on ‘the figure 8s’, believe me.. Well, I’m not going to dwell on that today. It is obviously very difficult to actually pinpoint a feature or factor that determines the beauty of a dress. I believe every single pattern a on fabric, every thread used in the design, every form of stitch, every little creative design employed in making the dress, and even the model wearing the dress makes the dress beautiful.
It should be known that the peculiarity of a dress cannot not be restricted to a particular factor or feature. The beauty of a dress is an encapsulation of every entity involved in the making.
