Read through to discover how to get back on your fitness journey with the help of world renowned Pilates instructors at LO studio.

From a single Pilates studio in their backyard with just two teachers in 2002,

LO Studio has today grown to a full on fitness haven with multiple world-class treatments.

Owned by two first generation Italian sisters living in Nigeria LO STUDIO is made unique by The casual and passionate combination and relationship the sisters share:

one is more of the fitness guru and instructor, the other manages finances but they are both business women in their own right!

Fitness has long since been viewed as a punishment or a hurdle one needs to overcome but the Lo Studio owners refuse to acknowledge such thought processes.

“Choose to do what you love, love it a bit more each day.”

Some of the LO STUDIO fitness classes include;

1. MAT Pilates

Classes include INTRO, Soft, Intermediate & Advanced

Mat Pilates is one version of the exercise, you could enjoy at Lo Studio. Come through to stretch and strengthen your body, primarily the muscles of the core, which span from your hips to your shoulders.

The standard Pilates system of exercise uses many different pieces of equipment, such as the ROLLER, the FIT BALL and the RING.

2. MOTR (INTRO, Soft, Advanced, Cardio)

The MOTR is an equipment used in Pilates that incorporates the benefits of the reformer and the added challenge of balancing on an unstable surface.

We offer classes suitable for all levels

3. Aerial (Yoga and Pilates)

These hammocks are not for sleeping!

In this Lo Studio class you’ll get all the benefits of Pilates and Yoga but with the added ability to hold challenging postures longer and with less strain.

4. Body Barre

This class is a combination between the principles of posture inspired by ballet, pilates and yoga.

The barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training (holding your body still while you contract a specific set of muscles).

5. Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa, also called flow because of the smooth way that the poses run together, is one of the most popular contemporary styles of yoga. These classes are characterised by stringing poses together to make a sequence. The sequence may be fixed but most of the time vinyasa teachers have the discretion to arrange the progression of poses in their own ways.

In addition to all this,

Dr. Yinka’s practice is tucked away in the Victoria Island studio

for anyone who needs a chiropractor.

There’s also a gorgeous cafe boasting the freshest organic squeezes,

in case you want a quick fix to your diet.
