New Year Resolutions should not be what you write down on a piece of paper on new years; it should be a process of reflections on the year and you should use that to set your self goals that you can realistically keep and achieve.
Here are 4 fashion new years resolution every creative should have on their mind:
1 ) OPENING UP YOUR MIND
As a creative you may have notices your self stuck in a routine. It may be that it’s become more formulaic or its just a comfort zone but as a creative you should be open to new things an ideas just keep an open mind and experience.
2 ) COLLABORATION
This is something we don’t do enough- you should collaborate like its second nature to you. You should do this with both established and emerging creative because honestly, through the power of collaboration magic is actually created.
3 ) IT’S ALRIGHT TO FAIL
The though of failing is something that most people are afraid of but its OK to fail embrace it. Its part of the journey to get you to were you need to be, look at it as not failing but as learning how not to do something.
4 ) APPRECIATE
Learn the art to appreciate others and your fellow creatives. We as creative are always in compassion with each other and sometimes forget the bigger picture that we are just one big family connected by our love of this industry we call fashion.
