The City of Lagos is about to be overtaken by fashion overdose as Lagos Fashion Week is upon us.
Returning for its 8th edition, Heineken Lagos Fashion Week this year will run from October 24th – 27th 2018.
It is one of the biggest fashion events on the African Fashion calendar, attracting thousands of local and international fashion experts, enthusiasts and media across the globe.
This year’s event is billed to feature more than 50 designers showcasing their Spring/Summer 2019 collections.
It also features the Fashion Business Series, #LagosFWRetail in partnership with #SheTrades, Visual Makers Fellowship with Canon, Green Access Showcase with Fayrouz x Garment Care and Heineken Live Your Music After Party.
What To Expect
The directory for the event has finally been released and this is what to expect.
The first day of the event is scheduled for fashion business series so come with your your note pads and feed your fashion knowledge.
The second day will see Designers like JZO, DNA by Iconic Invanity, Maxivive, Kiki Kamanu, Ejiro Amos Tafiri amongst others take the runway. Given the Creative records of these designers, safe to say it’s a mix you don’t wanna miss.
Style Temple, Tiffany Amber, Rich Minsi, and Lisa Folawiyo are scheduled to hit the runway on day three. Also, Retail store, Temple Muse will present the choicest of its collections to present on the runway.
Tokyo James, Elie Kuame, Maki Oh, Sisiano, Mai Atafo, Orange Culture and Fashion Focus Winner, Emmy Kasbit takes on the runway with their designs. Sit tight peoples!
