The federal government of Nigeria has introduced a new welfare scheme to cater to students of its 104 Unity Schools.
The benefit of the scheme is such that in the case of the death of a sponsor or parent, the student will be paid N500,000 per session, adding up to a total of N2.5 million.
The students will now be required to pay N5,000 premium in favour of the insurance every session.
