Dunkirk is a movie set in the war times between France and Germany and directed by the award winning director Christopher Nollas.
In the story, set in May 1940, Germany advanced into France, trapping Allied troops on the beaches of Dunkirk. Under air and ground cover from British and French forces, troops were slowly and methodically evacuated from the beach using every serviceable naval and civilian vessel that could be found. At the end of this heroic mission, 330,000 French, British, Belgian and Dutch soldiers were safely evacuated.
Dunkirk was has had its screening and release in London but more than that, its press and private screening recently held in Lagos, in cinemas like Genesis Deluxe VIP screen 8, The Palms, Victoria Island.
The storyline of Dunkirk evokes three major elements that will draw you in, which are death, hero and happy ever after.
