Hello, Nigerians in the abroad. I’m sure I stirred up some emotions from my last article on this topic. We are proud food lovers and indeed home is the best place to be. I’m here to still cause some trouble. Here are 6 foods Nigerians in the abroad miss a lot.

POUNDED YAM WITH EGUSI SOUP

ROASTED CORN WITH PEAR

This is one combo that makes mad sense.  Although this meal is seasonal, there are a thousand and one reasons to fly back home for this. So satisfying and nourishing.

DODO

I asked a friend of mine if she ever had fried plantain in the abroad. The scream which was her response got me feeling so terrible when I remembered the dodo I threw away some minutes ago. I’m sorry my Naija people in the abroad, so you don’t have the luxury of eating dodo, damn!

BOLI AND FISH SAUCE

This one of my favorite meal because it nutritional value is on point. It’s healthy and easy to make.

NIGERIAN NOODLES

Indomie noodle came to Nigeria and stole our hearts away. Indeed indomie noodle is a household brand has it has opened business opportunities for Nigerians. You can now get the best of cooked indomie from local mallams on the roadside.

This is my best food of all times. I’m a beans person and when it’s combined with dodo or garri…. I need to take a break from writing.

BOIL YAM WITH SAUCE

I have no words for this meal. You know you miss this and that is the truth.
