weekend food

The weekend is almost here and it’s going to be a crime if you take your humble self and/maybe loved ones through the stress of eating the same set of boring foods all over again. I mean, tbh, you should be jailed for this offense. A colleague of mine shared this recipe with me from his previous weekend food adventure and it was brilliant. What are we adventuring on this weekend? Well, its Chicken Broccoli and Mushroom stir fry. “Oyinbo food” you say? Yeah why not- give your culinary skills the treat.

To make this mouth watering dish, you need;

1 lb boneless skinless chicken
1 cup chicken broth/stock

2 Tbsp olive oil

Oyster Sauce

1 1/4 lb broccoli
1 small onion, sliced
3/4 lb (12 oz) white mushrooms, sliced

Let’s Cook:

Step 1) Trim chicken of any excess fat and cook without sauce.

Step 2) Heat the olive oil to be a bit warm

Step 3) Turn in broccoli and mushrooms (already washed and clean)

Step 4) Add the cooked trimmed chicken stir fry

Step 5) Add oyster oil and salt to taste

Step 6) Fry for 10-12 mins maximum.

Voila, food is set. Enjoy this with White Rice or Pasta.
