Netflix has released quite a number of Netflix Originals this year and we are very excited. If you’re thinking of which movies to watch, check out some of the ones we’ve recommended below:
Liz Garbus makes her narrative feature debut with this real-life story based on a deeply reported book by Robert Kolker about the mystery surrounding a series of murders on Long Island. Determined to find her missing daughter, a desperate woman launches a personal investigation that leads police to the unsolved cases of murdered sex workers.
“Dangerous Lies” stars Camila Mendes as Katie, a straight and narrow, financially struggling caretaker from south Chicago who tends to an older man named Leonard out in the burbs. When Leonard dies, he leaves the abode and all of his earnings to Katie, despite only having known her for four months. This causes Katie to be drawn into a web of lies and murder.
The Half Of It
Leah Lewis stars as Ellie Chu in this movie, a quiet top-of-her-class student who makes extra money to keep her family’s lights on by writing papers for her cohorts.
