Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays the role of Jaime Lannister in hit series “Game of Thrones” has been ordered to pay his ex-manager $2 million.

According to reports, the Danish actor has been ordered to pay his former manager Jill Littman around $2 million of that in back pay, plus about $225,000 in interest, following a contract dispute Waldau had with Littman and her agency Impression Entertainment for about a decade of the Hollywood portion of his career.

The actor apparently terminated their business relationship in 2015 via an email to Littman which read: “I am nothing but grateful for our many years working together and the success we shared. And the reason I have decided to leave Impression is not to go somewhere else but to basically take control myself. Game of Thrones is coming to an end now.”

But in April, Littman produced a written agreement which contradicts the actor’s claims: the document, apparently, was written so that he could apply for a 0-1 visa in America. Coster-Waldau has since tried to dismiss the agreement a sham, which reportedly has opened up the possibility of fraud charges.

Meanwhile, a Los Angeles court ruled that the agreement was real and ordered Coster-Waldau to pay Littman the aforementioned sum.

While the actor has yet to react to the ruling, his lawyer has confirmed that they will be appealing the case.
