Pep Guardiola secured his 22nd career trophy and his first trophy as Manchester City manager as they defeated Arsenal 3-0 to win the Carabao Cup at Wembley.
Sergio Aguero opened the scoring for the Citizens as he took advantage of a Mustafi error in the 14th minute before Vincent Kompany swept in Ilkay Gundogan’s cross-shot to double the score.
David Silva then sealed the win with a powerful shot past Ospina to hand Manchester City their fifth League Cup win.
Guardiola will now turn his attention to the Premier league and the Champions league where they hold a 4-0 advantage over Basel in the round of 16.
