Gunna’s latest album ‘Wunna’ has debuted at No. 1, earning him his first ever No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

The new album sold 110,000 equivalent album units to earn No. 1 on the Billboard 200. That number includes just 4,000 pure sales and 106,000 streaming equivalents, which are comprised of 143 million plays on sites like Spotify and Apple Music.

This is his most successful project, but not necessarily his best project. His previous release, ‘Drip or Drown’ back in 2019, debuted at No. 2. He also had a collaborative mixtape with DaBaby back in 2018, titled ‘Drip Harder’ which debuted at No. 4.

“Wunna is the other side of me that I don’t really be showing. I want people to know that I really took my time and I really put heart into this album. I made more than an album, I made a series with it. Even with the cover, the videos, with the merch and everything, it goes together. I want people to understand that I’m a real artist” Gunna said, according to Hot New HipHop.
