Though his lowest finish this year, Lewis Hamilton seems unbothered, as he celebrated his fourth world title at the Mexico grand prix.

Hamilton had punctured a tyre in an opening-lap scrap with Sebastian Vettel who needed all the tactics he could use to break the British driver but with eventual winner Verstappen leading the pace by over a lap, it looked as though Hamilton would wait till Brazil to clinch his world title.

However at the end, being watched by his mother, Carmen, Hamilton’s ninth place finish could only give him two points but was enough to finish top of the standings after Vettel’s fourth place finish gave him just 14 points which wasn’t enough.

An emotional Hamilton celebrated with the union jack while commending his closest rival for the competition he provided.
