Meryl Streep called her a woman of grit and grace saying: “She might be first American female President but she won’t be last…”
We totally agree with you Meryl.
And there is no denying that it was truly a night for girl power at the Democratic convention this week as speaker on speaker established Hilary as the girl to beat at America’s Presidential polls this November.
Bill Clinton had this to say: “I know the real Hilary Clinton and she never stops fighting for change … and she is still the best darn change maker I have known.”
The second night of the Democratic convention was filled with speeches from victims of slave trade to activists, 911 survivors, past Presidents, service men and diplomats, all lauding Clinton’s great achievements in and out of office fighting for the rights of the downtrodden, the oppressed and for national unity.
From a Alicia Key’s “Superwoman” anthem to Meryl Streep list of female trailblazers to Clinton’s satellite appearance literally shattering the images of past American male Presidents it was a night of awesomeness through and through as we saw a clear appeal from the Democratic nominee to the women group- a group which Trump her Republican counterpart has struggled with.
And though we all thought the night would end with Bill Clinton introducing his spouse they took it notch higher with presentations and performances from strong female entertainment icons – Meryl Streep and Alicia Keys appealing to the emotions of the Americans everywhere.
Right now we are just thinking can this convention get anymore awesome!!!
