HOMECOMING is a movement; igniting new cultural conversation and creative development in Africa, starting in Nigeria. Our vision is to empower the continent’s young generation with the knowledge and resources they need to inspire and enable future innovation and growth. HOMECOMING Festival is the spark that ignites this movement; a 4-day cultural exchange that brings African creatives and creativity back to Africa, and gives African creatives what they need to take their vision to the world.
HOMECOMING 2018 saw performances by SKEPTA, WIZKID, J HUS, TIWA SAVAGE, and NOT3S back-to-back on stage with emerging local artists SANTI, WAVY THE CREATOR, ODUNSI, NINIOLA and more, and launched original collaborations between brands including OFF-WHITE, VIVENDII, PATTA, MAINS and WAFFLESNCREAM. In partnership with NIKE, HOMECOMING launched the HOMECOMING CUP, a 5-a-side football tournament featuring teams of influencers and national heroes.
HOMECOMING 2019 will see the festival expand to an even larger audience through partnerships with global brands and a line-up of international and local superstars.
