Funny how when a person has a criminal record, many believe it may become hard for them to land great jobs. Who knew all it took was a hot mugshot and you may be on your way to becoming a global career holder (if there’s anything like that).
So anyway, here are two convicted felons who landed great modelling jobs just by looking hot in their mugshots.
20-year-old Mekhi Alante Lucky, from North Carolina, has been signed with Atlanta-based St Claire’s Modeling Agency after his hot mugshot circulated online.
Apparently, the young felon had been nicknamed ‘Prison bae’ when his pictures circulated online due in part, to his unique eye condition. He has irises of two different colours – one blue and one brown.
Having irises with different colors is called heterochromia, which affects about 20 percent of the world’s population.
Arrested in April 2016 for speeding and driving a stolen vehicle, Twitter account Wake Mugshots ‘discovered’ Lucky. The mugshot went viral on social media with the 20-year-old being dubbed ‘Prison Bae’.
Atlanta-based St Claire’s Modeling Agency signed him and he’s already done high-fashion shoots arranged by the agency and amassed thousands of social media followers.
Another hot mugshot model is 33-year-old Jeremy Meeks from California, a convicted felon who has been nicknamed ‘Hot Felon’.
His photos went viral In 2014, after Meeks was arrested on firearm charges and grand theft and his modelling career was launched when he got out of prison in September, 2016.
In fact, Meeks is currently dating Chloe Green, daughter of billionaire Sir Philip Green and heiress to the Topshop empire. See his modelling photos below:
So we are not saying everyone should become a felon, but if you are, know that it is not the end of the road for you. There are opportunities everywhere.
