Our hair is constantly under attack. Loss of edges from severe braids or combing, humidity causing dry hair and breakage, dandruff from the waves of the dusty air; the list is endless.

Hair products sell the most these days because they’re constantly in want yet there’s one natural ingredient that is consumed almost every day that can do wonders for our hair.

According to a study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Chemists, applying rice water to your hair can reduce friction between the hair strands as well as improve hair elasticity. It means combing and detangling will be so much easier, and you can kiss hair breakage goodbye.

Rice water is the cheapest and easiest way to get long and healthy hair. Studies have shown that fermented rice water is anti-microbial in nature that keeps hair and scalp healthy. It also adds a healthy shine to your hair, reduces frizz and repairs damage gradually.

When used regularly, it also adds a bounce to your hair and prevents hair fall, thinning and dandruff.

The marvels of fermented rice water is one to be reckoned with as it offers it protection, improving its manageability and making it look pretty always.

Ingredients you will need-:

Method-:

Take in a jar or bowl 1 ounce of raw rice. White rice, basmati, brown rice; whichever one you’ve have around is good enough. Pour adequate water inside bowl or jar containing rice and set it aside for overnight or for at least 8 hours to ferment.

Strain the water in the morning and massage into your scalp for 3 minutes.

Then leave it for 10 minutes, and rinse it off natural based shampoo and conditioner or ordinary cold water if the sour smell does not offend you.

White rice is particularly highly rich in selenium, a mineral that is known to decreasing dandruff. Its regular usage also promotes healthy hair growth giving you long full tresses to be proud of.
