Set a specific time to close on Friday

Friday is perhaps the most relaxed day of the week. But that does not mean you should be relaxed. Try as much as possible to leave work early so that can go prepare for your weekend. If your workload is too much, set a specific time to leave work. Ensure you stick to it.

Tie up loose ends

The truth is you may be unable to complete all the things you have to do on Friday. It will no doubt spill over to Saturday. It doesn’t have to be. Compare your work schedule and your weekend to-do list so that you can perform the task that may require urgent attention on Monday.

Have an alone time

Since there is no pressure from work, the weekend is a perfect time to have an alone time. You can meditate, workout, or read a book. The catch here is to improve yourself. With this, you are sure that you are not returning the same way you left work on Friday.

Make plans to socialise

Socialising with your friends is exactly what the weekend is all about. Certainly, Lagos have so many places you can indulge. Pubs, clubs and hotels are all dotted all over the city for this purpose.

Treat yourself to a delicious meal

This is one of the simple pleasures you can give yourself. It does not have to be an all-out expensive meal. The important thing is for you to treat yourself to a delightful meal. If you want, you can cook.

Spend time prepping for the new week

You do not want to party and forget that you will return to work on Monday. So, spend some time to prep for the upcoming week.
