Before you start your no makeup journey, you have to treat the so called ‘flaws’ that make you put on the makeup in the first place. Once you do that you are ready to walk down the no-makeup path. To ensure you skin looks the best, the first step is to exfoliate at least once a week. Make sure you also wash your wash twice daily before you go to bed and when you get up in the morning. Apply moisturizer on your skin to keep it soft and hydrated.
Not having mascara doesn’t mean your eyes won’t stand out. Without makeup, you have to trim and pluck your brows according to the shape of your face. Ensure they are groomed and combed with a little Vaseline to make it shine. For long lashes, if you want, use Vaseline again and comb it on your lashes. To curl, use eyelash curler.
Last but not least, for your lips, use lip balm to keep it smooth and plump. If you like a little colour, use a lip balm that has one but go for milder colour and nothing too over the top.
All these will be for nothing if you don’t have good daily routine for your body. In other words, make sure you comb your hair. Wear attention that will take attention off your face but not distracting. And don’t forget, eat a healthy diet and drink a lot of water daily.
