One of the most common recipes during this quarantine period has been banana bread. We don’t know why and we don’t understand the obsession but it’s probably because banana bread is delicious and super easy to bake. If you’ve been meaning to bake banana bread but haven’t found the perfect recipe, we’ll you’ve come to the right place.

Check out the perfect and easiest way to bake banana bread according to Precious Core:



  • 1 and a half cups flour
  • 3 overripe bananas
  • Half teaspoon baking soda
  • Half teaspoon baking powder
  • A third cup sugar
  • Half teaspoon of salt
  • Eight tablespoons butter (or margarine)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • Half a cup of whole liquid milk (substitute with evaporated milk)

Banana Bread


1. Peel some right bananas and place in a bowl.
2. Mash up the bananas. It’s okay for your bananas to still have a few chunks in there.
3. Mix the mashed bananas with milk and set aside.
4. In another bowl, place room temperature butter and sugar.
5. Mix together butter and sugar until well combined.
6. Add eggs to the butter and sugar and mix until just combined then add in the banana-milk mixture, the vanilla extract and mix until just combined.
7. Add the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon powder.
8. Mix everything until just combined to form a batter.
9. Place batter in a greased loaf pan.
10. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the bread comes out clean.
