Ewedu soup is one of the most popular soups consumed by mainly the people of South West Nigeria. Ewedu leaves are best eaten with Amala. Ewedu leaf is known to be highly nutritious. Here is how to prepare it:
Ingredients for Ewedu soup
Iru (fermented locust beans)
Salt to taste
Blend Ewedu leaves and pour into a pot.
Add the blended crayfish, Ewedu leaves, and salt
Never cover your Ewedu soup throughout the process.
Boil it over medium heat for about three minutes and it is ready. As a rule, do not cover the pot you use in preparing the Ewedu
You can enjoy it with Amala as earlier stated.
