The most anticipated event of the week was finally held yesterday, Thursday 6th October 2016, at the Ball room, Intercontinental Hotel Lagos. Invites were sent the previous week in what they called the ‘memo’ – a stylish black slip containing all details.
The black carpet was the main entry into the hall. It featured a black rug and backdrop, a photobooth section and a black booth lit up with LED strobe lights similar to that of Manus x Machina. The black boot was the most captivating as celebrities, bloggers, fashion enthusiasts, music enthusiasts and photographers, were all thrilled and moved to a tune while they were being recorded at the booth. The videos were both glamarous and akward.

MAI X TOJU – BLACK AND GOLD
The highlight of the night, and the reason most people were in attendance were because of the Spectre inspired collection. HP teamed up with Ohimai Atafo and Toluwaloju Olowofoyeku of Mai Atafo Studios and Toju Foyeh Studios respectively. Both showcased a 12-piece collection that captured the essence of the luxurious laptop. Mai’s collection portrayed power, style and the essence of a gentleman with white, gold tuxedo’s and eccentric double breasted jackets. Toju’s oozed alluring pieces accessorized with unconventional head gears.
The night could not have been more fun of course, as it all came to a close with music, people networking and a wide range of conventional dishes.
