Hugh Hefner died after suffering from cardiac arrest and experiencing respiratory failure according to reports.
Hugh passed away at the age of 91 last week.
Playboy Enterprises, Inc. announced the sad news via a statement which read: “Hugh M. Hefner, the American icon who in 1953 introduced the world to Playboy magazine and built the company into one of the most recognisable American global brands in history, peacefully passed away today from natural causes at his home, The Playboy Mansion, surrounded by loved ones.”
The publisher was survived by his third wife, Crystal Harris, and his four children: Christie, who served as CEO of Playboy Enterprise for more than 20 years; David, Marston and Cooper, 26, who currently serves as CCO of the company.
