If you’re cooped up at home itching for a new look, this will have you looking and feeling like a STAR!

Idia’s natural hair was a little overdue for perming, but I had to make that pony work somehow as the AMVCAS was hours away and I lacked the luxury of time for a salon run

The 8 Easy Steps

 1. COMB THE HAIR

‘I made sure to comb her hair properly’

2. APPLY PROTECTION TO THE HAIR

I applied Tresemme Heat protector to keep the hair in a balm.

After which I applied leave-in-conditioner in quantum for the hair to withstand

any heat stress.

3. BLOW DRY THE HAIR

I proceeded to do a blow dry to the hair to stretch it out a little bit.

4. STRAIGHTEN THE HAIR FOR UTMOST STRECH

I straightened the hair properly to make it super sleek and laid the edges just the way she wanted.

I used a hair wrap to hold down the straightened mane.

5. DIVIDE THE HAIR INTO TWO PARTS

I divided the other half into 2 parts,

putting the top part up in a high pony tail.’

6. INSERT WEFTS TO BUILD THE PONY

Then I installed a few wefts of deep wavy extension

and used bobby pins to hold them in and

give volume to that high pony.

7. VOLUMIZE THE LOWER SECTION

The bottom half of her hair (the second part)

was made into cornrows.

I also installed wefts of deep wavy extensions as aforementioned

to add volume to the bottom half

8. STYLE TO PERFECTION

I proceeded to styling the hair to perfection giving our lovely Idia this stunning style

which you can also achieve at home.
