Super Eagles goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, has returned to training after the injury he sustained during the 2018 CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Morocco.
Ezenwa got injured during Nigeria’s 1-0 victory against Sudan in the semi-ginal and could not be part of the final match against host nation which they lost Morocco 4-0.
The 30-year old revealed the goodnews on his facebook page.
“Special thanks to God almighty for healing me, Ezenwa is back to the field of play with joy,” the Super Eagles goalkeeper stated.
“And also thanks to my beloved fans all over the world for their prayers and concern they showed to me during the recovery process. God bless you all and I love you all.”
Ezenwa is one of the keepers being looked at by Rohr for a place at the World Cup as a first choice keeper.
