Drake’s much anticipated “Scorpion” body of work is slated to be released on Friday, June 29 (it’s tomorrow in case you were about to check your calendar) and it has been confirmed to be released as a double album.
“Scorpion,” which will mark the Canadian rapper’s 14th body of work since 2006, will be an RnB album and a rap album.
This was confirmed by Mal, brother of Roc-a-fella’s Kareem “Biggs” Burke and co-presenter on The Joe Budden’s podcast, saying “It’s a double album, RnB album and a rap album.”
Drake’s last album, “More Life” was released last year. The body of work received generally positive reviews and debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, becoming his seventh consecutive number one album, while also breaking several streaming records.
