In the first two weeks of 2020, Jennifer Lopez has kept very busy while very well-dressed: she’s won awards, rehearsed for her upcoming Super Bowl halftime show performance and revealed that she’s once again teaming up with a major fashion house to revive one of her most legendary looks.
On Saturday, Lopez announced that she will be the face of Versace’s spring/summer 2020 campaign and shared a few images featuring the designer’s sleek garments. One of the portraits — shot by famed photographers Mert & Marcus — is of Lopez lounging in a jungle-print jumpsuit with matching jacket. The turquoise and lime green print of the ensemble is the same as the sheer, plunging dress she wore to the 2000 Grammy Awards, which will also keep time on Versace watchbands this season.
t’s been an especially happy weekend for Lopez, Versace news aside: hours after the announcement of her campaign, Lopez took home the best supporting actress honor at the 2020 Los Angeles Film Critics Association awards. She’s a nominee at the 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards as well, which take place Sunday night
