Johnny Depp has been denied his bid to delay his $25 million lawsuit against his former business manager. The decision by an LA judge is bad news for the Pirates of the Caribbean star.
According to reports, The Management Group, run by Depp’s business manager, Joel Mandel and his brother, Robert, is being sued by the actor for negligence, breach of fiduciary duty and fraud.
The Mandels deny any wrongdoing and charge that Depp’s bank account is under water — thanks to his $2-million-a-month compulsive-spending disorder. Depp believes his lawsuit “will change Hollywood forever.”
