One of Hip-Hop’s greatest photographers, Jonathan Mannion, is now in Nigeria for photography tour as a concept of Hennessy artistry.
Mannion is live in Lagos to capture Nigeria’s Hip-Hop scene. The 45 years old photographer shot to fame when he took the iconic album cover of Jay Z’s debut album ‘Reasonable Doubt’ and the viral sensation- #straightoutta campaign directed by Dr Dre.
The photographer responsible for over 300 album covers from DMX to DJ Khaled’s latest album ‘Major Key’ will be spending six days in Lagos to capture the Nigeria’s Hip-hop scene and also share his knowledge and experience in photography.
“Well surrounded. Nigeria, already, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Only hours deep! Thank you for taking good care of me! #BlessedLove” he wrote on Instagram in the caption of his photo with two Nigerian policemen.
His visit will open doors for photo exhibition at Red Door Gallery, public view from 27th October to 5th November 2016, 8pm daily, ‘Talk Presentation with Hip Hop & Photography’ stake holders, workshop, club tour and more.
