It seems Meek Mill’s long fight for his freedom is not about to end any time soon, as Judge Genece Brinkley has again denied him bail following an appeal to be released.
The rapper is currently in prison for violating his probation. He was arrested for his involvement in a fight at St. Louis airport.
Despite both the Philadelphia District Attorney and Governor Tom Wolf publicly supporting his release, the judge decided that Mill will remain behind bars.
She ruled: “Defendant received proper notice of all alleged probation violations in advance of his hearing. The sentence imposed was not manifestly excessive and this Court stated sufficient reasons on the record to support a state sentence of two to four years.”
