Following the release of the video to “Intentions” by Justin Bieber featuring Quavo, the artistes donated $200,000 to Alexandria House, a shelter for homeless women and homeless women with kids.
The music video tells the story of a group of women in search of greener pastures in Los Angeles and the women are all living out of Alexandria House. Its ends with a special shout out to the house and a link is provided to viewers where they can donate and lend a helping hand.
Since the release of the video on Friday, it’s reported the shelter has received more than $10,000 in donations. According to XXL, the website of Alexandria house has also received huge influx of traffic with about 800 percent increase compared to the day before the video dropped.
There were 3 main women characters In the video and funds are going towards their tuition and after school programs for their kids and a show for the lady who does poetry. The rest of the money going to other current residents and some former residents.
This will serve as another stepping stone towards uplifting and helping people in the society. You can watch the video to “Intentions” below.
