Justin Bieber has written an emotional essay about how he became “the most hated person in the world” thanks to a string of “bad decisions” in his 20s. Justin had previously spoken candidly about his mental health struggles, including depression, anxiety and ADHD.JB shared a lengthy post on Instagram, where he reflected on how achieving fame at age 13, growing up in an unstable home, and having “access to whatever I wanted” led him to struggle both physically and mentally later in life.
“I became ultra-successful, it happened within a strand of two years,” Bieber writes.

“My whole world was flipped on its head.” The singer explained how detrimental childhood fame was to his personal growth. “I went from a 13-year-old boy from a small town to being praised left and right by the world, with millions saying how much they loved me and how great I was.”
He continued by talking about using drugs and being “disrespectful to women.”
“I started doing pretty heavy drugs at 19 and abused all of my relationships,” he said. “I became resentful, disrespectful to women, and angry. I became distant to everyone who loved me, and I was hiding behind a shell of a person I had become. I felt like I could never turn it around. It’s taken me years to bounce back from all of these terrible decisions, fix broken relationships and change relationship habits.”
