Justin Bieber is getting sued for posting a paparazzi photo of himself on Instagram…(you’re confused right? Yeah, we are too). Robert Barbera claims he took a photo of the singer that was posted to Bieber’s Instagram page without permission.

The photo in question, which shows the singer with his friend Rich Wilkerson, was posted on Bieber’s Instagram in March, with the caption “Me and my guy”

Barbera says that this action arises due to Bieber’s “unauthorized reproduction and public display” of the copyrighted photograph, which is owned and registered by Barbera.

In court filings seen by E! News, Barbera says she’s taking legal action due to Bieber’s “unauthorized reproduction and public display” of the photo, and flexes her alleged ownership. “Barbera is the author of the Photograph, and has at all times been the sole owner of all right, title and interest in and to the Photograph, including the copyright thereto.”
