Juventus became the first team in Italy to win the Coppa Italia three times in a row as they defeated Lazio 2-0 in the final at the Stadio Olimpico yesterday.

Defenders Dani Alves and Leonardo Bonucci gave the Old Ladies a 2-0 lead in the first half and they held on till the end for a famous victory, their 12th Coppa Italia crown in their history.

Paulo Dybala and Higuain all had chances saved by Lazio keeper Strakosha while Ciro Immobile and Savic both spurned chances to equalize for Lazio as they were thwarted by Neto who stood in for Buffon.

With this title in the bag, Juventus treble quest is still on and focus now shifts to the final league game of the season against Crotone.
