It was a relief for Italian champions Juventus after they were able to overcome high flying English side Tottenham Hotspurs 2-1 last night after a 2-2 first leg result.

Son-Heung-Min had opened the scoring in the 39th minute before Higuain and Dybala goals inside three minutes in the second half made sure of Juventus comeback to win the tie.

At the Etihad stadium, Basel came from behind to stun Manchester City 2-1, thanks to goals from Elyounoussi and Lang after Gabriel Jesus had given the Citizens the lead.

It was Manchester City’s first home loss since 2016.
