Many have sent in their condolence messages since the announcement of the death of Ken Saro-Wiwa Jnr., first son of the renowned Ogoni environmental Rights activist, who died earlier this week, at a London hospital at the age of 47.
It is reported that he slipped into coma after suffering a stroke on saturday.
Messages of condolences have reached the family of the deceased from many dignitaries such as former President Goodluck Jonathan, President Muhammadu Buhari and Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike.
The Movement for the Survival of the Ogoni People (MOSOP) through its publicity secretary, Fegalo Nsuke extended their heartfelt condolences to the family.
Another group, Ogoni Central Indigenous Authority (OCIA), through its president, Goodluck Diigbo expressed their sadness over the news of Saro-Wiwa Jnr.’s sudden passing.
Saro-Wiwa Jnr. Is said to have served under three governments in his life time, and was to turn 48 on November 28 had he been alive.
