Kevin Spacey, formerly the lead of Netflix’s House of Cards, will face felony charges for sexual assault in a Massachusetts district court. Netflix dropped Spacey after accusations of sexual assault came out last year.
A Massachusetts district court has issued a criminal complaint against actor Kevin Spacey for allegedly sexually assaulting an 18-year-old.
His arraignment is scheduled for Jan. 7, according to a statement released by Nantucket District Attorney Michael O’Keefe.
Clerk Magistrate Brian Kearney issued the complaint about “indecent assault and battery,” a felony offense, following a public show cause hearing. The criminal charges stem from former Boston news anchor Heather Unruh’s accusation last year that Spacey had assaulted her son.
